Ok, so as I’m sat here writing this, it’s actually the 18th January, I’m not sure if I’m still allowed to say this, but anyway, here goes: Happy New Year! I hope you’ve all had a great start to 2023!
This is normally one of my first jobs of the year, however things have been just as crazy as ever. I’ve already shot 3 weddings, the kids have been back at school nearly two weeks, and I feel like all of the excess mince pies and chocolate are a distant memory.
Anyway – I’ve finally managed to get together the best of last year’s pictures – I was desperately trying to narrow it down to 100, but after such a bumper year, this just wasn’t possible.
Not only was 2022 the year of epic weather and the mighty Nottingham Forest making a return to the Premier League, I’ve also photographed 78 amazing weddings including everything from barns to stately homes and tipis in fields to gorgeous churches. There have been more golden hours than I can count, and I’ve seen some of the most outrageous dance floor parties in living memory.
Looking back through so many amazing weddings really does have me pinching myself that this is my job, and the fact that people pay me for this gig which gives me so much enjoyment is something so special. 2022 has also been an amazing year for my business, with over 250 of you lovely people loving my work enough to enquire, ensuring a fully booked year ahead already. 2023, I can’t wait to see what you’ve got for me.
