Parisa & Jeff – Pumping House Wedding

This is my third blog in a month – you really can tell that it’s the quiet season and I’m sticking to my new year’s resolution by giving the website some much needed attention!

It’s always a treat photographing at a new venue. After checking out their website and socials in the run up to this wedding, I was super excited for my first trip to The Pumping House with Parisa & Jeff.

The real thing was even more lovely than I expected! This place has such a beautiful aesthetic, and with Parisa & Jeff and their guests bringing a great vibe, a photographer really couldn’t ask for more.

These guys really were the most beautiful couple (both inside and out), there were so many lovely touches throughout the day, and the speeches especially, with Jeff’s heartfelt words left plenty of people in tears, always something I’m on the look out to capture.

I loved so many things about this wedding – that gorgeous soft autumn light was just perfect, and the colour of the trees made for a perfect autumn palate to work with. I also have to mention the dress, silk is probably my favourite material to work with, and the way Parisa’s dress moved and caught the light with a gorgeous glow was dreamy. Emily White the pianist and singer (she really does have the voice of an angel) serenaded us throughout the day, and – Hannah Dora – always a lovely makeup artist to work with, and at 6 months pregnant, still delivering makeup perfection!

I can remember coming away from this day absolutely buzzing, knowing I’d got so many epic captures in the bag ready to edit.
