Lydia & Harry | Dunscar Farm Wedding
Quite often, I get a feeling before a wedding that it’s going to be an extra special day, one to remember for a long time to come. I had this feeling before Lydia & Harry’s big day, and was I right? Well take a look below and see for yourself!
I’ve always been a huge fan of Sail Cloth Marquee weddings, and also the couples who take the gamble on having their wedding in them – they have the confidence that even if it rains, they will still have an amazing day, and that really is such an amazing approach to have! Luckily for Lydia & Harry, they had the most beautiful summers day making it all the more special.
Dunscar Farm is nestled in a remote corner of the Peak District near Castleton, with Mam Tor rising behind it. It really is a dreamy location. After starting the day at Lydia’s parents house for some bridal preparations, followed by a church ceremony at the beautiful Eyam church, we were off to Dunscar where the celebrations began.
Hilarious speeches, extremely tasty food, a gorgeous golden hour and then night fell with the warm ambient glow creating an amazing atmosphere underneath the canvas.
Lydia & Harry had chosen a really great team of suppliers to bring their vision together – one of my favourite florists Tinker Floral for the flowers, top notch food from The Grazing Guys, and it was great to be back alongside Tom from Hitched Productions.
So was it really a special day to remember? Well I certainly think so – beautiful people in such a stunning location really is the best recipe for a special day.
