Louisa & Wilson – The Old Vicarage Southwell Wedding
Louisa & Wilson – The Old Vicarage Southwell Wedding
After almost 6 months without a wedding, it was finally time in early September to dust off my camera ready for Louisa & Wilson’s big day.
These guys were originally booked for April, but had decided to take the plunge and go ahead in September regardless of restrictions. If you are a couple wondering if you can have a great day still despite smaller numbers, then this wedding goes to show just how much of an amazing day you can still have. All you need are great guests, a beautiful location, and true love!
And what a location it was – it was my first trip to The Old Vicarage at Southwell and I’ve kind of fallen in love with it straight away! Gorgeous interiors, epic food and perfect tranquil gardens – everything that an intimate, exclusive wedding venue should be.
Attention to detail was everything at this wedding – hair perfection from the amazing Alison Jenner amazing flowers by Jenny at Flower Barn, beautiful room details with cake by Homemade at the Pavilion, favours from Studio Chocolate, and stationery from Rosepress.
To cap it all, I had scouted a nearby field for some sunset shots, and with perfect evening light, we headed off to capture some dusky light magic. Out of all of my weddings this year, this is the one where the weather played an absolute blinder!
Looking back on this now from our February lockdown gloom gives me that warm feeling for the summer to come, and the hope that I’ll be out doing this all again soon. Cheers guys for an amazing day!
