Jo & Pete – Chatsworth House Wedding

Jo & Pete – Chatsworth House Wedding

This was my second wedding at Chatsworth House in less than a week – I was feeling very lucky! The weather was kind yet again with perfect sunny skies, and with Jo & Pete getting married a little later in the day, we had all 105 acres of garden almost entirely to ourselves.

The setting for the ceremony was the gorgeous Hartington room, followed by drinks and some very tasty canapés. After a trip down to the bridge for the classic shot in front of the house, we headed into the gardens for a few more photographs.

We had all of the shots that I wanted in the bag except for one with the Emperor Fountain as it wasn’t switched on. As we were on our way back out of the gardens, one of the gardeners came down to turn it on at just the right moment. This provided one of my favourite shots of the year with Jo & Pete, the fountain and the sun all coming together to make the perfect shot!

To make the day even more perfect we had some very emotional speeches and a live band providing music for the first dance. Yet another magical day photographing in the dream world that is Chatsworth!
