Helen & Jon – Shottle Hall Wedding
This was a very memorable trip to Shottle Hall for a couple of reasons – firstly the couple, the lovely Helen & Jon were super chilled and great to photograph throughout the day. Second was the venue with Helen and her great team not only looking after the guests but also finding time to extend their hospitality to me as well, and lastly the weather – it was the weekend of Storm Brian and the wind was crazy. It was so windy that I couldn’t even get a shot with the drone as it would have just blown away!
Luckily the weather held off for just enough time after the ceremony to get a few quick group shots outside along with a few of Helen & Jon (luckily I don’t need too long outside to get the shots needed).
As my full day coverage lasts until 9pm, we still had plenty of time to capture some more shots during the evening reception – I love it when we have plenty of time like this, making everything lovely and chilled.
A first dance and great music provided by Paul at Spirits High Entertainment finished the day off perfectly.
