Danielle & Dan – Cressbrook Hall Wedding

A return to one of my favourite venues – Cressbrook Hall, set in the heart of the beautiful peak district.

Danielle was getting ready in one of the holiday cottages at Cressbrook, giving me plenty of time to get loads of getting ready shots in the build up to the ceremony.

As I’ve mentioned in previous posts, getting married outside is a gamble, especially when it’s almost Autumn – once again though (it’s been a good summer for outdoor weddings this year!) we got lucky and were able to have the ceremony in what has to be one of the most beautiful outdoor ceremony areas available.

My favourite thing about weddings from September onwards is the quality of the sunsets – this time of year always seems to come up with the most amazing skies. About 6pm the sky turned pink and we managed to head out to catch a few quick shots, all taken within 2/3 minutes – perfect!

Danielle & Dan also had some really cool mini light up letters which came in super handy for a great evening shot with the fountain once it got dark – that’s what I love about Cressbrook, so many great opportunities for photographs, whatever the time of day or weather.

After the speeches we finished off with the first dance in the Orangery – the perfect end to a perfect day!
