Annette & Mark – Swancar Farm Wedding

This was my first visit to Swancar Farm – a venue that I’d heard lots about, so was really looking forward to Annette & Mark’s big day.

We started off the day with Mark and the guys for a few informal shots of their last minute preparations before heading off to Swancar for some shots of hair, makeup and details.

Swancar is an amazing building – the ceremony room is an upstairs room of the barn and has loads of character. The reception room is a beautiful oak hall with huge beams. All of this is surrounds a courtyard perfect for the drinks reception, and finally you’ve got rolling countryside and fields all of the way around the venue. All in all, it’s a photographers dream, whatever the weather!

Annette & Mark hit the jackpot with a beautiful late summers day which provided loads of opportunities for photographs during the informal drinks reception after the ceremony, and of course of Annette & Mark throughout the day.

I like to think that my signature shots are my sunset and evening sky-scape shots, and as with the rest of the day, the finish to the day was perfect with a beautiful deep orange sunset which we managed to grab just before the first dance.

What an amazing first wedding at Swancar Farm – I’m looking forward to being back again in the future.
